No news is good news?

Wow, 2 weeks have slid past and I haven't updated the blog. Sorry folks. However, there is no further news (medically speaking) to that posted in previous episode/edition. All good - feeling fine and very thankful for the recovery process.

Today was my Mum's 89th birthday which we celebrated several ways. She had a good day and is doing very well indeed which is great.

Ended up playing a hide and seek crossed with tiggy game with Hannah (3yr old grand daughter) around the back yard tonight in the dark. We eventually managed to tire each other out quite well I think!

Enjoyed a visit from Brain and Sally Burgess (Nashville) which was a great catch up and laugh etc. Yes, we will have to come and visit you over there!

Jeanette and I took part in a rookies golf lesson and then 9 holes at the pitch 'n putt course in the middle of the Ellerslie Racecourse a few weeks before Christmas. We had a lot of fun, despite some pretty ordinary skills! We had another game there a couple of weeks ago and still enjoyed it and decided it may be worth getting some more suitable weapons.

I was using an old set which Dad bought second-hand back in 1969 (yes 1969). Last weekend I succesfully bought a much better rig off TradeMe for the princely sum of $162 which I'm very pleased with. Now looking to get something suitable for Jeanette. I have a few currently on the watch-list which are possibles. If you happen to see us on a golf course, please be warned and take suitable cover to avoid injury from errant shots from the Bremners!

Is it OK to use the AM radio after noon?
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?
Is that a flying saucer or a pie in the sky?
Is the nose the scenter of the face?

Cheers
