Happy Christmas!

(Jeanette writing).....Well it's that time of the year that seems to come around so fast it's a bit of a worry!

If you are here you will know our year but we wanted to take the time to thank all of you who have been so kind and generous to us with your wishes and prayers over this torrid last few months of the year!

Bruce has continued to (as far as we know because we still haven't had results back from the November CAT scan) stay well - for this we are so grateful to God given all the other stuff that has swerled around us lately.

Two days after Tyler died we settled on a business which I will take responsibility for. It is called the 50+ Lifestyle Show and once the website is up and running you will be able to see all about it! That will hopefully happen in about 3 months. We are currently rebranding and our first show is September in Tauranga and the second at Auckland Oct 8-10 at the ASB Showgrounds. We'll keep you posted on this!

We have just had a fab weekend up north on with an overnight cruise on the fullers boat Ipiriri - so relaxing in hotel type setting but on water! Loved it. We then visited our friends just north of Kerikeri for a lovely afternoon of catching up.

We have Claire and Chris's wedding coming up in Feb so it's going to be a busy summer rather than a relaxed one but we do look forward to having a bit of a rest at Algies for a week after Christmas :) Hannah turned 4 about 3 weeks after Tyler's death so we have celebrated that in fairy and pirate style! Yes we all had to dress up and NO there are not photo's of us! Claire and Chris have moved to Howick and are loving being closer to Chris's work and his parents. They have a lovely sunny house and I think they will be there a while :)

Joel continues to follow his music and has a lovely girlfriend Katie (of 3 years) who will be working with me this year in the business. Joel is in several bands so had a very busy life along with his full time work as selling for a trade publication called 'Hospitality Magazine' and other publications as they need more 'hands to the pump' as it were. He and Katie have looked after a St Paul's Cluster group this year which has about 40 + 20-30 year olds in it so that has kept them busy too.

The animals for anyone interested are all still with us. Mr Blue is almost 14 now which is old for an English Pointer (very rickety on his legs) and Rosie is about to experience her first Christmas at just over 7 months! She was caught today with a small present sticking out the side of her mouth which I rescued but decided not to give with little teeth marks fairly visible! The 3 cats are still with us - Sofie (almost 13) and Max and Ella (both 5 years).

We wish all our blog watchers a wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season. Love to catch up with you in the new year so give us a call or mail us!

Love Jeanette & Bruce
