Tuesday 30th September

We had sad news yesterday afternoon that our friend Ruth died in the afternoon. What an absolute trouper! She certainly was very inspirational to all who came in contact with her, especially in her last few months. A great example of someone who sought to (and did) make the most of the time she was given.

Things have continued to go well for me after last (final) round of chemo. Side effects have (again) been pretty minimal compared to what many have experienced. I feel good and have certainly kept busy. I still have another CT scan (8th Oct) which results will be to hand in time for my next appointment with the Haemotologist (22nd Oct).

I got the pergola alterations completed, so must remove the giraffe pics!

We looked after Hannah from Sat through to Sunday afternoon. All good fun (apart from one episode lateish on Saturady night where she was in pain). She was very good and almost as well behaved as her Grandad always is!

If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?
If a word in the dictionary were misspelled, how would we know?
If all the nations in the world are in debt, where did all the money go?
If all the world is a stage, where are the audience sitting?

Cheers
